Influenced by the modern wine-focused restaurants of Athens – photographer Jenny Pagnoni’s Fitzrovia two-year-old specialises in Greek and Eastern Mediterranean dishes (many seared in the Josper oven). Feedback remains limited but is upbeat: “delicious food, marvellous service and a beautiful venue”.

“Lovely contemporary Greek” inspired by the modern wine-focused restaurants of Athens – and with a high-quality list created by a Greek Master of Wine. Photographer Jenny Pagnoni opened this agreeable newcomer on Charlotte Street’s ‘restaurant row’ in January 2020. It features “interesting” dishes inspired by the Eastern Mediterranean generally, not just Greece (with lots emerging from the Josper oven), from a chef trained in Tel Aviv. The mezzanine is the best dining spot (rather than the ground floor bar or basement).

For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Interesting Greek dishes, very Mediterranea...

"Interesting Greek dishes, very Mediterranean chic. Wines good but perhaps a tad pricey for the quality. Nice booths at the front but otherwise slightly cold atmosphere."
