For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Burnt Truffle Restaurant Diner Reviews
"An off night? We have been eating here since shortly after it opened, and maybe our expectations were too high? I didn't recognise ANY of the staff from previous visits, and quite a number of small - but cumulative - points made us feel that the sparkle had gone, and we left feeling let down. The food (a new menu) was OK, but not up to the usual standards. We really hope that this was just a hiccup."
