Pastry supremo Cedric Grolet opened his first permanent patisserie outside France in the early months of 2022 (you may remember his Harrods pop-up in 2019 if you can recall the days pre-pandemic); his beautiful creations - including realistic fruit desserts - will be very popular with the social media crowd. You're able to eat in or takeaway, and there's even a "kitchen theatre" table where you can watch the chefs at work.

“OMG so good and so spectacular!” – Paris pâtissier par excellence Cédric Grolet opened his first permanent London showcase in this Knightsbridge 5-star in early 2022, and its ‘kitchen table’ is a place to ogle, then eat – “good-looking French chefs work in front of you” to create trompe-l’oeil fruit and flowers “made for Insta and for foodies”. “Loved my experience here, expensive but so worth it”. (The price shown is for the ‘Gouter’ 5-piece menu with tea, but the bookable counter described about is £135 per head; or take out from about £5 per item).
