Harden's says
The 25-seat terrace of small this Fitzrovia corner-site – previously Bonnie Gull (RIP) – opened first at this April 2021 newcomer: the first spin-off from the well-known Brighton duo of the same name. The outside is actually a bigger space than the tightly-packed 20-seat interior, open a month or so later. Later the layout may become more like its Brighton stablemates, with more counter seating. The menu – with homemade pasta, small plates and perhaps some emphasis on fish – will also echo its Brighton siblings.
Harden's survey result
Summary
This “lovely neighbourhood Italian” in Fitzrovia opened in April 2021 as a spin-off from a successful Brighton duo, and has made a “great transition to London” on an eye-catching corner site (formerly Bonnie Gull, RIP). The food is “delicious”, although “portions are lady-sized rather than man-sized”. The business was founded ten years ago when Italian-Australian lawyer David Toscano bought an old Fiat van to participate in a Brighton street-food festival.

No survey feedback as yet, but Marina O’Loughlin from The Sunday Times gave its ‘topically brief’ menu (four choices for each course) from chef Jamie Halsall a thumbs-up.
For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"A local simple Italian restaurant. Food was good, but some elements overcooked and under seasoned. Service was good but a tad slow at times. "
