Most (but not all) the diverse menu is of East Asian-inspiration at this 70-seater in Fitzrovia, complete with outdoor bar. The “excellent seafood†is worth a special mention – “some of the best calamari ever†– and it’s “good value, tooâ€.

‘A local restaurant that thinks big’ – this tightly packed Fitzrovia five-year-old inspires good vibes for its pan-Asian dishes, cocktails and saké.

“Imaginative and tasty cooking†of a “very high qualityâ€, taking its cue from modern pan-Asian cuisines, wins steadily high ratings for chef Mitz Vora (ex-Palomar) at his Fitzrovia four-year-old, and service is generally “fast and friendly†too. Only one negative: the “very tight seating arrangementsâ€.

For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
