“Probably the best brunch, and choices, for miles around” – this cute café on Primrose Hill’s main drag “isn’t going to wow” from a gourmet point of view, but its “wonderful and fresh-tasting” brunches and breakfasts win lots of praise, helped by “good prices” and “fabulous staff”. In recent times it has helped that “they have made a big effort with their outside eating pods” (“I love their shacks with heaters and blankets!”).

“A perfect favourite for brunch” – this “welcoming” café, “quite idyllically located” on Primrose Hill’s cute main drag, is not a foodie destination, but a popular all-day hub for breakfast, a bite, or a bun with a brew. “The line outside was a hint that it would deliver… and so it did!”

For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
