“An oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the West End” (and relatively “tourist-free”), with a “lovely quiet covered courtyard”, this glitzy operation is pitched at those in the know – founding investors included Yegeny Lebedev, son of a Soviet spy, and our own 007, the late Roger Moore. “Easy to get to from Bond Street/Oxford Street/Regent Street”, it’s “perfect for business breakfast or lunch”. But “this all comes at a price and it’s one the food, whilst definitely pleasant, can struggle to fully justify”.

“Buzzy but relaxed”, this 1920s-themed bar/bistro for the Mayfair crowd is known for “lovely courtyard dining in the summer months”“it’s right in the middle of town but feels away from it all”. It is also well connected: co-owners include Evgeny Lebedev, the Evening Standard owner elevated to the House of Lords by Boris Johnson.

“Elegant without stuffiness”, this smooth, “buzzy” bar/brasserie “in a courtyard down a discrete lane” off Bond Street makes “a very nice venue for a business lunch in busy Mayfair”. Established 21 years ago (by founders including Geoffrey Moore, Roger’s son, and Evgeny Lebedev, owner of the Evening Standard), it clearly knows its market and “offers something for most occasions”.

For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"When I visited today with my friends, we liked the ambient of the place, however... we ordered some food which had a boring presentation and it wasn't the best at all. In addition, one member of the staff treat us on a rude way at the end... And they almost charged us a different price and more money that the one that was displayed on the menu.I don't recommend this place at all... So visit another ones that offer a better treatment to the customers and where you can have a good experiencesonce the start to the end."
