This Manchester-based mock-Bavarian concept already has a small Liverpool outpost (Albert’s Schenke), but a full-sized ‘Schloss’ is set to open in late 2022; Roy Ellis of Mission Mars says he plans to spend £3m on a complete refurbishment of a former food market at Radiant House. The art-deco building was formerly home to The Liverpool Gas Company and has been empty since 2019.
