Harden's survey result
Summary
This “smart, modern-style Indian” has established itself as a “really good-quality neighbourhood curry house” in its 20 years in Battersea. “Yes, it’s a little cramped and can be noisy at its busiest times, but the food is always good and the fact it’s BYOB helps keep the cost down” (£1.95 corkage fee).
Summary
This “brilliant local Indian” off Clapham’s foodie Northcote Road knocks out “wonderfully flavoured dishes at a good price point” – and is “definitely not your generic curry house”. Now approaching two decades in the neighbourhood, although “it moved round the corner to Battersea Rise a couple of years ago”. Top Tip: unusually, it has a children’s menu – perhaps a concession to the area’s reputation as ‘Nappy Valley’.
Summary
In Clapham’s busy ‘Nappy Valley’, this “great local Indian” earns consistent ratings for its “well-cooked food” with subtle spicing. Its modern dining room is far from spacious and can descend into “bedlam in the evenings, when it’s full of screamers… not all of them young!”.

For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Indian Moment Restaurant Diner Reviews
"You can always rely on good, above average Indian food here. It’s aiming at the slightly higher market with its food, which it does achieve. The only thing it suffers from is the cramped interior, which can mean it’s a bit loud and the service can be a little chaotic. The fact that it is BYOB is, however, an added bonus. "
