Harden's survey result
Summary
This “posh Greek” which opened in 2019 is widely held to be “the best local restaurant” in the Barnet area, and popular owner Louis “has it bang-off” with “great fish and excellent meats”. There are “lots of little sharing plates, with surprising dishes such as ceviche which are incredible”, while “service is fantastic”. “All the locals have discovered the secret, so this is one to book in advance!”.
Summary
“In its first year of opening, you now have to book weeks ahead at weekends to get a table at this buzzy, sleek ‘Mediterranean kitchen’. All the food is well cooked and they don't hold back on portions”, with some “exceptional value” fish. “Think you've got room for a pudding? Not before you've finished your free fruit, compliments of the owner.”
For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
