Harden's says

Part of the ongoing foodie gentrification of Peckham: this modern wine bar/bistro (or as they say a ‘neighbourhood kitchen, wine bar and shop’) was a fairly grown-up arrival to the ’hood in late 2019 (and recently won a Michelin Bib Gourmand as a result). It serves a well-chosen selection of wines with interesting Mediterranean-esque small plates for accompaniment.

This “fantastic local wine bar is worth a trip” to Peckham, where it is a star of the foodie scene that has blossomed in recent years. An “informal” operation that “always has an interesting selection of food and unusual wines”“the menu’s not huge”, but the modern European dishes are well thought-out, and “both food and wine represent very good value for what you’re getting”. (In 2023, they will launch a spin-off in Camberwell, called ‘Little Cellars’.)

“The guys here are obsessed with wine and it shows!” – This modern ‘neighbourhood kitchen, wine bar and shop’ is part of the ongoing foodie gentrification of Peckham and a relatively ‘grown up’ arrival to the ’hood in late 2019. It offers “imaginative” Mediterranean-esque small plates from a list that’s “varied, but crucially also very delicious. Love that you can buy bottles of what you had to take home (though they do operate a delivery service if it's too much to carry!)”

For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"This is a great restaurant which bent over backwards when there was a problem with our reservation. Can’t fault them on service. Food was also wonderful. Great selection of sharing plates. It is noisy but well worth the visit."
