The “consistently high standard of cooking” at this French wine bar and bistro from Laura & Pascal Wiedermann (ex-Terroirs) in the north Oxford suburb of Summertown make it a valued favourite for numerous reporters, some of whom had their best meal of the year here. The “professional team makes us very welcome”, and the “set meals are really good value”.

“Quality cuisine in a pleasant north Oxford location with outside terrace” is to be found at Laura and Pascal Wiedermann’s wine bar and dining room. Formerly of highly rated London ventures Racine and Terroirs, it offers a similarly Frenchified mix of (quite rich) cuisine and quality wines. "Having mostly stuck to Central Oxford for years, this was a very pleasant surprise. Menu and wine list impressive, resolutely French. Choux dessert surprisingly delicious."
