For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Root Restaurant Diner Reviews
"I enjoyed both the venue and the vibe. The restaurant is based in a cargo container and the staff are really upbeat. The food was good but possibly not great. Interestingly for a veg centric venue there were three fish dishes and the two we had were the weakest. The head chef did not seem to be there on the Saturday evening we were there and that may have impacted standards."
